(They would gain strength quicker, but I think its a minor drawback) Pure cold builds that uses frozen orb and blizzard would also have to make compromises such as : Do I want to maximize frozen orb dmg, and loose a bit of Blizzard dmg? If I want to maximize both frozen orb and Blizzard, I would need to first max ice bolt and glacial spike, but I would then loose on the bigger dmg of ice blast. ![]() Pure builds such as cold could reach the same power as they did. Such changes could make some builds possible such as hydra/blizard, nova/fireball, etc. Maxing glacial spike and ice blast would give blizzard about 80% of the dmg it has from maxing all 3 synergies, but it would free 20 pts. I was thinking about some skills synergiszing less than others.Īs an example, Blizzard receives 5%/5%/5% from ice bolt/ice blast and glacial spike. Proposition : What is synergies had a diminishing return? It would be complicated to make it so the first 5 points give 5% dmg then the next 5 give 4%. ![]() I know you answered some of my posts here already so I hope you can read this and give your oppinion on it. I however think the best way by far to increase build diversity, shake the meta a bit, while keeping most builds at the same relative strenght would be to adjust synergies to enable more hybrid builds. I was however thinking about something like a flat 90%, but the idea is the same. I kind of agree with you about the hard 75% that cannot change.
